For Apple users, they are saved to their personal Apple iCloud Keychain. If you use Windows, they are stored While Apple users can remove their passkey right there, Windows users have to search a bit. Surprisingly, it is not possible to delete passkeys yet on Android.
In order to make the search a bit easier on all devices, we have created a guide below on how to delete created passkeys.

Apple: Remove passkeys from your iOS or macOS device and iCloud Keychain
Currently, you can only get rid of your passkeys if you use an iPhone with iOS 16+.
1. Go to “Settings” on your iPhone
2. Search for “Passwords” in the search bar and click on "Passwords".
3. Enter your Touch ID, Face ID or passcode (depends on your device and what you have set up).
4. Search for the service / website and email / identifer you want to delete the passkey and click on the entry.
6. Click “Delete Passkey”.
7. Click “Delete Passkey” in the pop-up.
If you own another Apple device using the same iCloud account, this passkey will be deleted there as well.
Currently, you can only get rid of your passkeys if you use a MacBook or iMac with macOS Ventura 13+.
1. Go to “System Settings” on your MacBook or iMac.
2. Click “Passwords” in the sidebar.

3. Enter your Touch ID or personal password.
4. Click the info button next to the passkey you want to delete.

5. Click "Edit".

6. Click “Delete Passkey”.

7. Click “Delete Passkey” in the pop-up window.

If you own another Apple device using the same iCloud account, this passkey will be deleted there as well.
Currently, passkeys can only be deleted if you have Windows 11 (e.g., Home Build version 10.0.22521) installed and use Chrome browser version 108+.
1. Go to “Settings” in Chrome

2. Search for “passkey” in the search bar and click on “Password Manager”

3. Click on “Manage passkeys”

4. Click on the dots next to the passkey you want to delete
5. Click "Delete"

Currently, the only way to delete your passkey is if you have Windows 11 (e.g., Home Build version 10.0.22521) installed and use Chrome browser version 108+.
1. Go to “Settings” in Chrome

2. Click on “Password Manager” in Chrome setting

3. Search for the website where you want to delete the passkey for, e.g. "corbado.com" and click on the relevant entry

4. All stored passkeys for this website are displayed (currently in native OS language, thus German). You can edit (Bearbeiten) and delete (Löschen) the passkey.

5. If you decided to delete the passkey in the previous step, you need to confirm the deletion (Löschen). Afterwards the passkeys is deleted (but not your account).
